Founders List privacy notice

This notice explains how Pop & Lala handles information collected through the Founder’s List. For privacy questions or requests, email comms@poplala.com.
What we collect
We collect your email address, any skincare or haircare interest you choose to provide, your marketing consent choice and a record of your form submission. Your product interests are optional. Without an email address we cannot register your interest. Please do not provide medical or other sensitive information through the list.
How we use your information
We use your details to manage the Founder’s List, record your preferences and consent, and respond to requests. If you opt in to marketing, we may email development updates, behind-the-scenes news and confirmed launch announcements. Your optional interests help us make updates relevant. Submitting without checking the marketing consent box does not subscribe you to marketing.
Joining is free. It is not an order, deposit or stock reservation. No launch date has been confirmed.
Services that support the list
Our website is hosted by Shopify. Shopify Forms stores submissions in our Shopify customer records. Shopify Flow and Shopify Messaging support our email processes when enabled. Our email hosting provider processes correspondence you send to us.
Shopify may also process device, browser and website-interaction information to operate and secure its services. Shopify and its service providers may process information outside Australia. Their processing locations depend on the services involved. You can read more in Shopify’s consumer privacy information, or contact us with questions about the providers involved in your information.
Your choices and requests
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, or email comms@poplala.com to withdraw consent. Choosing not to receive marketing does not prevent you from browsing our website.
You can contact the same address to request access to, correction of or removal of your information, or to raise a privacy complaint. Tell us enough to identify your request; we may need to verify your identity before acting. We will review your concern and respond using the contact details you provide. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you can seek information about complaint options from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Retention and protection
We keep information for as long as needed to manage the list, respond to requests and meet applicable obligations. We may retain limited consent and unsubscribe records so that we can respect your choices. We use the access controls available in our business systems and limit access to people and services that need it to perform their work.
Scope and updates
This notice covers the Founder’s List. Separate product-notification forms and other website services have their own information-handling processes. We will update this notice when the list’s handling of information changes and explain any new use before introducing it.
